Dani Pinto's Top
Notch Equestrian Center

Dani Pinto is passionate about horses. It’s apparent from the care she has taken with her facility. Top-Notch Equestrian Center is clean. The horses look happy. They compete for Dani’s attention – and each one gets it. Dani specializes in training horses for western performance and speed competitions. She’s also known for her work correcting problem behaviors in troubled horses. Her small stature belies her strength to get her point across to a horse even when that horse dwarfs her. "We train ‘em all, big and small," she says with a grin.

Equestrian Center

Top-Notch Equestrian Center is located near Walton, New York. The center is foremost a training facility. Horses are boarded in well-appointed stalls and receive "top-notch" care while under Dani’s training program. Dani also offers boarding, and "vacation quarters" for horses traveling with their companions. TNEC has a round pen, as well as outdoor and indoor riding arenas. There are 22 stalls with sawdust-covered rubber flooring, a heated tack room, and a horse washing station. Boarded horses are pampered with quality feeds and unlimited hay.

Training before the Sale

Folks bring Dani horses to sell. All horses sold at Top-Notch Equestrian Center have completed Dani’s basic training program. Not only does this ensure a well- behaved horse, it also allows Dani to learn each horse’s personality, strengths and weaknesses. Dani explains, "I talk to perspective buyers to determine which horses are a good fit with their personality, interests, and goals. My motto is: Train ‘em right – Once for life". She refuses to place a horse in a situation that would overwhelm either the horse or rider.

Cimarron - First horse Dani bought with her own money, when she was 17. He is about 37 years old now.
