What is the HorseIceCream.com Service Area?

Our service area is the geographical region that is used for Shows, Trails, Clubs, and all Advertisements. For now, author contributions for articles are accepted from across the USA.

Where is the Service Area?

HorseIceCream.com serves the Southern Tier of New York and North East Pennsylvania. As we're just launching HorseIceCream.com, we're limiting our area to the counties that surround where we live. So, if you live in or have a business that serves these counties then you are in our service area:

Why Does HorseIceCream.com limit the service area?

We confine our service area so that this site can best serve its audience. When visiting most other horse sites, we noticed that the service area was so large that it was not practical to use the site for local events, trails and other areas that would be useful to the horse enthusiast that has regular non-horse commitments (ie work and school).

After all:

• You don't want to use a vet that is 400 miles away
• You don't want to read a trail review for a trail that takes two days of driving to reach
• You do want to chat with people on the forums that you could see at the next Show
• You do want advice from folks that have horses in the same environment your horse lives in
• You do want to board your horse close enough to visit it every day
